At Elastorsa, we know that the final result of any company's work is as important as the values and principles under which the whole process is carried out. Therefore, since our inception, ethics, integrity and honesty have been our guiding principles. We have a firm commitment to legality and integrity when carrying out our work, and we are aligned with the United Nations Global Compact and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We seek to follow a business case we call ‘Responsible Business’, which aligns profitability with ethical principles, based on best practices and long-term value creation for all stakeholders. We are confident that the implementation of these best practices will have a positive impact on the company's reputation. True to our commitments, we aim to maximise the creation of sustainable and shared value for the members of the company and, in general, for the society in which we operate. In addition, we strive to prevent and mitigate potential negative impacts arising from our activities.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

At Elastorsa we are committed to limiting our impact on the environment using energy and natural resources efficiently, minimising waste and acting responsibly, to which end we undertake the following commitments:

  • Supporting the development of the societies where we do business. Promoting our own initiatives and collecting others for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Participating in initiatives and collaborating with regulators and other organisations to promote and disseminate responsible practices.
  • Defining and applying an Environmental Policy that includes, among others, risk management in this area, progressive integration of environmental variables in product development and the promotion of eco-efficiency together with the management of direct impacts.
  • Promoting action on climate change and maintaining transparency on emissions.

At Elastorsa we implement a corporate governance model based on the values of::

  • Compliance with all regulations applicable to the activity of each of the plants. Management systems implemented in each of the plants, as well as codes of conduct which include internal policies and inspiring principles for carrying out our activity.
  • Compliance with all aspects of money laundering prevention regulations.
  • Clear and transparent structures of corporate governance.
  • A commitment to transparency vis-à-vis our stakeholders, to whom we provide information on a regular basis.

TRANSPARENCY AND COMMUNICATION POLICY

At Elastorsa we recognise the importance that ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) aspects have for our organisation and, in this respect, we try to promote their transparency, both internally and externally.
